This book was breath taking! I absolutely fell in love with it. I marked several poems I would reference for later use. I read it a few times actually going back to my favorites. Highly recommended.
I absolutely love this Author! You can feel the love and passion she writes with as you read every poem. She has a way of captivating you and wishing it were you she was writing about. I tried to limit myself to one poem a day because I didnt want the book to end. I will continue to support her and look forward to her next book.
How do you describe love in it's most absolute form?
By reading "From My Heart To Hers A Letter of Love" by Phoenix Rising.
In her second publication, she again creates a powerhouse read (expertly organized to boot), which leaves you almost overwhelmed with the rawness of love. It is as if you are, for a moment in time, transported into the emotional, thrill-seeking, roller coaster packaged in that beautiful four letter word. Perhaps this is what makes her poetry so sensual. We have collectively, to some degree, experienced these emotions, and seeing such a pure output expressed creates a breathtaking experience of a yesterday love, or a sweet reminder of present passions.
Her poetic prowess describes the dichotomies of love strong and weak, uncertain and certain, restless and content. It's almost as if you inhale and exhale simultaneously while reading. Love, in it's simple complexity. Her experiences, wishes, and desires are translated well, and her footprint in the literary world is planted and set.
